Nittol Anti-Lice Lotion is a dual-action formula that kills head lice and their eggs, loosens eggs from the hair shaft, and washes out cleanly. The Lotion is a great choice for all hair types, with a precision nozzle for targeted application. The 100ml bottle provides up to 2 treatments (approximately 50ml of lotion required per treatment).

How does Nittol Anti-Lice Lotion work?
Nittol Anti-Lice Lotion is a dual-action formula meaning it works in two physical ways at once. The formula forms a film that coats each louse and blocks the tiny openings it uses to breathe, while dissolving the protective waxy layer on its surface, causing it to dehydrate. The same film also loosens the eggs’ grip on the hair, so they comb out more easily. It is free from pesticides and volatile cyclic silicones (D5/D6). It contains squalane to help leave hair in good condition, along with lavender oil so it smells good too.
Step 1
Apply
Shake the bottle before use. Apply directly onto dry hair from roots to tips, using the precision nozzle to part the hair and coat the scalp. Work it in well, paying extra attention to the nape and behind the ears. One application uses approximately 50ml of lotion.
Step 2
Works in 5 minutes
Leave on for 5 minutes to kill lice. For better results on eggs, leave on for up to 10 minutes.
Step 3
Wash out
Apply shampoo directly onto hair before wetting it. Add water, lather well and rinse. You may need to shampoo twice to remove all the product fully. Use warm water and rinse thoroughly.
Step 4
Comb through
While the hair is still wet, use the enclosed comb to remove any remaining lice and eggs. Work through each section in small locks, starting each section as close to the scalp as possible and combing all the way through. Once a section is clear, clip or braid it to one side. Wipe the comb clean with a cotton pad or tissue after each section.
