Nittol Anti-Lice Spray is a dual-action formula with a targeted spray applicator, that kills head lice and their eggs, loosens eggs from the hair shaft, and washes out cleanly. The spray is a great choice for long/thick hair as the pump spray provides even coverage from root to tip. The 125ml bottle provides up to 2 treatments (approximately 50-60ml of product required per treatment depending on hair length/thickness).

How does Nittol Anti-Lice Spray work?
Nittol Anti-Lice Spray is a dual-action formula meaning it works in two physical ways at once. The formula forms a film that coats each louse and blocks the tiny openings it uses to breathe, while dissolving the protective waxy layer on its surface, causing it to dehydrate. The same film also loosens the eggs’ grip on the hair, so they comb out more easily. It is free from pesticides and volatile cyclic silicones (D5/D6). It contains squalane to help leave hair in good condition, along with lavender oil so it smells good too.
Step 1
Apply
Shake the bottle before use. Spray evenly onto dry hair from roots to tips, covering the whole scalp. Work it in well, paying extra attention to the nape and behind the ears. One application uses approximately 50ml of product depending on length of hair.
Step 2
Leave on for 5 minutes
Leave on for 5 minutes to kill lice. For better results on eggs, leave on for up to 10 minutes.
Step 3
Wash out
Apply shampoo directly onto hair before wetting it. Add water, lather well and rinse. You may need to shampoo twice to remove all the product fully. Use warm water and rinse thoroughly.
Step 4
Comb through
While the hair is still wet, use the enclosed anti-lice comb to remove any remaining lice and eggs. Do not use a hair dryer until the product is fully washed out. Work through wet hair with the fine-toothed comb provided. Divide the hair into 4 sections: front to back and ear to ear. For long hair, you can braid each section to keep it manageable. Work through each section in small locks of hair so you can see the scalp clearly. Start each section as close to the scalp as possible and comb all the way through. Thorough combing is key to removing all lice and eggs. Remove any louse or egg you find with the comb. Once a section is clear, clip or braid it to one side. Wipe the comb clean with a cotton pad or tissue after each section and always comb from root to tip.
